Faces of Design Awards 2010

La última nota de prensa que me llega hasta el momento me dirige a Faces of Design Awards 2010. No me preguntéis porque no me suena de nada y la nota es demasiado larga para habérmela leído entera :S
La novedad frente a otro tipo de concursos en los que la primera criba es que tienes que rascarte el bolsillo, es que el recopilatorio que se haga al final será distribuido, según ellos, a más de 300 compañías. Con esto se vuelve a desenterrar el “viejo tema” de los beneficios periféricos :)

Thank you for mentioning the Faces of Design Awards 2010 - we really appreciate any feedback!
It’s also worth mentioning that in addition to the key contacts at more than 300 design leaders worldwide, we will also introduce the winners to the international design press, design institutions, etc. - all in all, the winners will get exposure to more than 1,000 key decision makers and influencers in the world of design!
Moreover, we will do our best to personally arrange direct meetings between the very best participants and the companies they would most like to work with.
From our own experience, we know that this kind of international exposure can make a major difference to the success of a designers or design agency; and we have done our best to keep the cost of participation as low as possible - if they register by Oct 31st, students can take part for as little as €20, and professional designers for €40. So hopefully, this makes the competition affordable even for young designers just starting out!
